Welcome to Emma Learoyd Design

After studying Textiles Design at university, I worked in the retail industry for 13 years.

I have now found myself drawn to my first love …. Textiles and consequently Emma Learoyd Design was born.

In between looking after my two children I am designing accessories and stationery with an emphasis on embroidery and felt.  I hope that if you like them as much as I have loved making them then my work is done.

I have always had a passion for colour and texture and by combining felt and embroidery I am able to exploit this. The product I produce is influenced heavily by nature.

I design cushions, scarves, bags, wall hangings & notebook covers in a variety of ranges that keep evolving. On the card side I am hugely influenced by combining metal with paper which I think compliments my textiles.

Choose your day and if you fancy mixing something together then just ask.

Please note there is a min of 4 people per day and max of 10. Courses run from 10am – 4pm and can be booked any day of the week date permitting. Alternatively come and join one of the courses we are already running.
